What do you say about a guy with a big smile and a bigger heart? If you have ever met Joe you would know how warm, loving and friendly he was. I remember one time when my dad was visiting me in the U.S. I brought him with me to an event at Janine and Gilles’s house. Joe (or Youssef as he introduced himself) was present and welcomed dad with open arms. He spent a big chunk of the evening talking; sharing stories and made my dad feel welcome. Every now and then I would meet Joe at church or an event and he would make sure to ask about my dad and send his regards. That is how I remember Joe: caring, smiling, laughing and full of joy. Loved ones may be gone but live in our hearts forever. I will miss him dearly.
